SSUHS GNM Entrance Exam 2024 Notification
The SSUHS has issued an official notification regarding the GNM Entrance Examination (GNMEE) 2024. Candidates interested in studying the GNM course in various medical education institutes of Assam must qualify the GNMEE 2024 conducted by the Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Services. The online application for the Assam GNM Admission Entrance Exam will start on 10 May 2024.
The SSUHS will conduct the GNM Entrance Test on 14 July 2024 (Sunday) from 10 am to 1pm at Guwahati, Dibrugarh, Silchar, Jorhat, Barpeta, Tezpur, Diphu, Lakhimpur, and Kokrajhar. The GNMEE 2024 exam will be conducted only for those who registered for their application.

Eligibility criteria for admission into GNM Course in the GM Training Schools under the Govt of Assam:-
Age Limit (as on 31 Dec 2024)
- Minimum Age: 17 years
- Maximum Age: 35 years

Educational Qualification
The minimum educational qualification for selection of the GNM candidates through GNMEE 2024 is as follows:-
- 12th or its equivalent passed preferably Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) & English with aggregate of 40% marks. OR
- 10+2 in Arts (Mathematics, Biotechnology, Economic, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy) and English Core/English Elective or Health Care Science – Vocational stream ONLY, passing out from recognized Board under AISSE/CBSCE/ICSCE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board with 40% marks. OR
- 10+2 vocational ANM under CBSE Board from the school and recognized by Indian Council with 40% marks. OR
- Registered as ANM with State Nursing Registration Council. OR
- Students qualified in 10+2 Arts or Science examination or Health Care Science – Vocational stream ONLY conducted by National Institute of Open School with 40% marks.
