Assam Minority Scholarship for Girls 2023: The Directorate of Secondary Education, Assam is accepting applications from girl students belonging to the minority communities for scholarships under the “Assam Govt Special Scholarship Scheme for Minority Girl Students 2023-24”. This scholarship scheme is being offered to female candidates studying in classes 10, 11, and 12.
Assam Minority Scholarship for Girls 2023 Notification
Minority Scholarship in Assam 2023 for 10 to 12 students: Through the Secondary Education Department, the Assam Government has introduced Minority Scholarship Scheme for the needy and admirable girl students of Assam to provide them financial support at the school level education. This Minority Scholarship is for the applicants belong to minority communities like Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains, Parsis, Muslims & studying in X, XI and XII class in government schools.
Only the eligible female candidates will be awarded with the Assam Minority Scholarship. The selected candidates under this scholarship scheme will get an annual scholarship amount of Rs.2000/- for Class X students & Rs.4000/- for Class XI & XII students.
The online application process has already started from 17 August 2023, which can be submitted through the official website of DSE Assam @madhyamik.assam.gov.in. OR you can also apply by downloading “Bidyarthi” mobile app from Google Play Store. All the eligible candidates can apply for Assam Minority Scholarship Scheme till 30 September 2023.

What is Minority Scholarship in Assam?
Assam Minority Girl Students Scholarship 2023: Minority Scholarship Assam Scheme is one of the Schemes provided for the State of Assam by the Central & State Govt for the economically weaker sections and deserving students of Assam. The Assam Govt Scheme for Girl Students is to help the students so that they do not face any financial hurdle to complete their studies.

Eligibility Criteria for Scholarship for minority girl students Assam:
- The Student must be a resident of Assam
- Only Girl students belonging to Minority Communities of Assam are eligible to avail the scheme.
- The student should be Unmarried.
- Students must be studying in class X, XI, and XII during the academic year 2023-14
- As per Government Guidelines only two unmarried girl children of same parents are eligible to get the benefit of the scholarship scheme.
