APSC Mains is the second stage of the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE). Aspirants who clear the APSC Prelims exam qualify for the Mains. It comprises a series of written papers on various subjects that assess the candidates in-depth knowledge, analytical abilities, and writing skills. APSC Mains 2024 will take place in July 2024. The exact schedule will be released later.
APSC Mains 2024 Notification
The Assam Public Service Commission has released notification for the online registration process for Combined Competitive (Main) Examination 2023 on its official website. The APSC CCE Prelims Result 2024 was released on 09 May 2024. All the candidates who have qualified the prelims have to appear in the APSC CCE Mains 2024 for the recruitment of 235 vacancy. The online application process will commence from 18 May 2024. The last date for online submission is 01 June 2024.
The commission will hold the APSC CCE Mains 2024 on 26, 27 & 27 July 2024 at Guwahati Centre. The Roll No of the candidates for the APSC Main Examination will remain the same as that of APSC Prelims 2024 Examination. A total of 2898 candidates have been qualified for APSC Mains 2023.

APSC CCE Mains Apply Online 2024: Before applying for the APSC Mains Exam, candidates need to qualify the Preliminary Examination. Mains is the second stage of the Combined Competitive Examination, and only candidates who clear the Prelims are eligible to appear for the Mains.

- Click the Recruitment Advertisement on the left side of the APSC Page.
- Click on the APPLY HERE link under Advt No. 02/2024
- Applicants will have to register themselves in APSC Recruitment Portal @https://apscrecruitment.in/ of the commission by clicking on Register Here link.
- Register yourself by providing name, email id, mobile number and other details. You will receive a registration number and password on your registered email id and mobile number.
- Login with your registration number and password and fill up the application form with your personal details, educational qualifications, category, and other information.
- After login, upload your scanned educational qualification, photograph, signature and other documents as per the prescribed format and size.
- Make payment of application fee as per your category and submit the form.
- At the end, take a print out of the submitted application form.
