- Register in the Portal https://apcap.in/ using a valid mobile number.
- After registration candidates will get a Recruitment ID.
- Update the candidate’s required documents.
- Required documents:
- Certificate of proof of age. (Admit Card or certificate of H.S.L.C. or equivalent examination).
- Pass Certificate of Graduation.
- Mark sheet of Graduation.
- Employment Exchange Card.
- Caste Certificate.
- NCC certificate issued by Competent Authority.
- Passport size Photo.
- Signature.
- The candidate will then click on the complete button to indicate that they agree to all the entries made in the form. The candidate can then download the registration/application slip with ID No.
Other Criteria:
- Candidates must be Indian citizens and permanent residents of Assam.
- Candidates must speak Assamese or any other State language fluently.
Selection Process:
- Candidates whose applications are found correct in all respects will be called for Written Test.
- The written test will be 100 marks and will be completely OMR based. There will be 100 questions and each question will be of 1 (one) mark. There will be a negative marking of ½ mark for each wrong answer.
- The question paper for Written Test will be in the following languages: Assamese/ Bodo/ Bengali/English.
- After qualifying for the written examination, candidates will be called for the PST and PET.
- Physical Standard Test (PST): The PST will carry no marks. Measurement of the height, weight, and chest (only for males) and the candidates will be taken after the candidate will be inspected by a medical officer for preliminary checkups like knocked knee, vision test, color blindness test, flat foot, varicose vein, and physical deformities. Once a candidate clears the PST, he/she will have to appear in the Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
- The Physical Efficiency Test will carry 40 marks.
- 1600 meters race for male candidates
- 800 meters race for female candidates.
- Long Jump for males 335 cm (minimum)
- Long Jump for females 244 cm (minimum), 3 chances (longest valid jump will be considered).
- Oral Viva: The Oral/ Viva-Voce on the basis of the total marks scored in the Written Test & Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
