Post and Qualification
Name of Post: Biodiversity Research Associate Program
Qualification
Master’s degree in Botany, Zoology, Ecology, Wildlife Biology, Forestry, Environmental Science, Conservation Science or related subjects.
Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated experience of working with communities in Assam in relevant field.
- Knowledge of plant taxonomy, identification of flora and fauna and associated ecosystem.
- Identification ad documentation of traditional knowledge practices prevalent in Assam.
- Experience of carrying out PRA exercise, site visits for survey and data collection.
- Good communication skills; proficient in English and Assamese (oral and written).
- Good working in MS- Excel and other MS Office applications.
Age Limit
The candidate should not be less than 21 years and not more than 38 years of age.
Salary / Pay Scale / Remuneration
The candidate will be given the fixed stipend of Rs. 20,000/- per month including travel allowances for the field surveys.
