JEE Advanced Registration 2024: IIT Madras will commence the JEE Advanced 2024 registration today, 27 April 2024 at 5 pm. Candidates who have qualified the cut-off for the JEE Advanced can fill JEE Advanced application form 2024 for IIT admission. JEE Advanced 2024 registration last date is 07 May 2024.
The exam is scheduled on 26 May 2024. There are two papers in JEE Advanced 2024 – Paper 1 & Paper 2. Paper 1 will be held in the first shift, from 9 am to 12 pm & Paper 2 will be from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Candidates listed under the top 2,50,000 JEE Main exam qualifier will be eligible to apply for the JEE Advanced 2024.

What is JEE Advanced 2024?
The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced is one of the most prestigious and challenging engineering entrance exam in India. Conducted annually, it serves as a gateway for admissions into the premier Indian Institute of Technology (IITs). The exam is a two-stage process, the first stage being the JEE Main exam.
Indian nationals who wish to appear for JEE Advanced 2024 are required to write the JEE Main 2024 exam for admission to B.E./B.Tech programs conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
Foreign nationals who have studied or are studying in India/Abroad at 10+2 level or equivalent and wish to appear for JEE Advanced 2024 are not required to write the JEE Main 2024 entrance exam.
JEE Advanced 2024 Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for JEE Advanced 2024, candidates must fulfill the following JEE Advanced eligibility criteria:-
- Candidates must have passed Class 12th or equivalent examination in 2021 or 2022 or 2023.
- Candidates must have secured at least 75% marks (65% for SC/ST/PwD category) in Class 12th or equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry subjects.
- Candidates must have secured a rank in the top 20 percentile of their respective boards in 2021 or 2022 or 2023.
- Candidates must have appeared for JEE Main 2024 and secured an All India Rank (AIR) in the top 2,50,000 candidates in order of merit.
- Candidates must not have taken or accepted admission at any of the IITs or ISM Dhanbad in the past.
- Candidates must not have appeared for more than two attempts in JEE Advanced.
