Scholarship for Law Students 2023 Notification
Applications are invited from students pursuing five year integrated BA LLB course in any recognized institution in Assam or any other state in academic session 2023. The scholarship will be in the form of reimbursement (refund) of tuition fee as well as hostel accommodation of selected students and will be for the entire duration of tenure of Justice Gogoi as a member of Rajya Sabha, as written in an advertisement published in Assam Tribune Newspaper on 20 September 2023.
In this regard, 27 students from different law colleges in Assam or any other state will be selected for the scholarship for the academic session 2023. Ranjan Gogoi, The Former Chief Justice of India (CJI) will provide scholarships to students from the proceeds of his salary and allowances as a nominated member of the Rajya Sabha with an aim to extend help to needy and worthy law students in Assam and India.
