AAU Jorhat Eligibility for Undergraduate Degree Programmes
Selection of candidates for admission into all Undergraduate degree course in Assam Agriculture University shall be based on the performance at the Common Entrance Test 2024 to be conducted centrally by AAU.
Age Limit
A candidate for undergraduate degree course shall be at least 16 years of age as on 01 Sept 2024 (must have been born before 01 Sept 2008) for all the programmes other than B.V.Sc & A.H.
Educational Qualification
1. B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture, B.Sc (Hons) Horticulture, B.Sc (Hons) Sericulture, and B.F.Sc Degree
- 10+2 examination passed with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) or Physics, Chemistry and Agriculture (PCAg) from a recognized University or Board including that of NIOS.
- Must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate for Gen/OBC/UPS category, and 40% in aggregate for SC/ST/DAC in qualifying examination.
2. B.V.Sc. & A.H. Degree
- Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry Degree course
3. B.Sc (Hons)Community Science/ Food Nutrition & Dietetics Degree
- 10+2 examination passed with Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCB) or Physics, Chemistry & Agriculture (PCAg) or Physics, Chemistry & Home Science (PCHSc) as subjects from a recognized University or Board including that of NIOS.
- Must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate for Gen/OBC/UPS category, and 40% marks in aggregate for SC/ST/DAC in qualifying examination.
AAU Jorhat Eligibility for Postgraduate Degree Programmes
Selection of the candidates for admission into Assam Agriculture University for Master’s Degree shall be based on the NTA score (2024-25) obtained by the candidates in ICAR’s AIEEA (PG) during the academic session 2024-25.
There will be a second channel of admission in order to admit the eligible students across the subject groups in the Faculties of Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences, by conducting a Common Entrance Test (CET).
