This is the 2nd time the Govt of Assam has released the Direct Recruitment Assam. The SLRC conducts Assam Direct Recruitment Exam (ADRE Exam) to fill huge number of vacancies for Grade 3 and Grade 4 posts in the state. This year, 7600 vacancies are announced for Grade 3 posts, and 5000 vacancies are announced for Grade 4 posts. The recruitment drive has been initiated with the release of ADRE Notification 2024 (ADRE 2.0). Candidates willing to apply for the said vacancies have to submit their applications online to participate in the ADRE 2024 Exam.

Candidates who have passed Class 10th Exam, Class 10th with a pass certificate of ITI in the trade of wireman/electrician/fitter/welder/mechanist/electronics mechanic, and who have read up to class 8th can register for ADRE Grade 4 Recruitment 2024. As per ADRE Grade 4 Notification 2024, individuals with qualification exceeding Class 12th are ineligible to apply for Assam Direct Recruitment Grade 4.
The online application process started on 10 November 2023 on the official website @sebaonline.org. Interested candidates who want to appear for the ADRE 2024 exam must submit their application form by 29 December 2023. Selection of the candidates will be based on the candidate’s performance in written test followed by an interview.
