Assam Direct Recruitment Salary Per Month: As per the Assam Direct Recruitment 2024, The pay band of Grade 4 or Class 4 for the selected candidates is Rs. 14,000 to 60,500/- per month with the grade pay equivalent with the posts to which they are admissible. Each post is associated with allowances and benefits that a candidate can get after the probationary period. As per the 7th Pay Commission, Assam Direct Grade 3 Salary ranges from Rs. 14,000 to Rs. 60,500/- contingent on their selected post. Given below are some of the allowances which includes:-

3. Net Salary
Net Salary or In Hand Salary is the amount that an employee takes home. For Example: Net Salary = Gross salary minus All deductions like Pension, Insurance, Professional Tax etc.
4. Additions
- Dearness Allowance (DA) = Dearness Allowance is paid by the Government to its employees. It is a part of an employee’s salary that recompense for inflation and increasing living expenses. It can be understood as a component of salary which is some fixed percentage of the basic salary.
- House Rent Allowance (HRA) = House Rent Allowances is a part of salary provided by the employer for the expenses towards rented accommodation. You can claim HRA only if you are residing in a rented house.
- Medical Allowance (MA) = Medical Allowance is a fixed amount of money paid to the employees by an employer as part of their total salary to meet their medical needs.
5. Deductions
- National Pension Scheme (NPS) = National Pension Scheme is a government sponsored pension scheme. It was launched in January 2004 for govt employees and was made available for all in the year 2009. The NPS is open to both govt employees and the citizens aged between 18 years to 60 years. It is an initiative undertaken by the Central Government with the aim of providing retirement benefits to all the citizens of India.
- Group Insurance Scheme (GIS) = GIS means Group Insurance Scheme. The ‘Scheme’ is intended to provide for the State Govt employees at a low cost and on a wholly contributory and self financing basis. The twin benefits of an insurance cover to help their families in the event of death in service, and a lump sum payment to expand their resource on retirement.
- Professional Tax (P Tax) = Professional tax is a deduction that is deducted from your gross salary by your employer along with NPS, GIS and any other deduction.
